The Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail at Cambrian Ridge will host it's 10th Annual Father Son Championship on May 24-25, 2008, Memorial Day Weekend.
Last year the weather was a little cooler than expected but no
one complained and the golf courses were in terrific condition
for the event. The participation was the largest in tournament
history with 120 teams from 13 different states. There were
teams from Alabama, Arkansas, Colorado, California, Florida,
Mississippi, Louisiana, Georgia, New York, Pennsylvania, South
Carolina, Texas, and Tennessee. The 2007 champions are Joe &
Marshall Watts from Greenville, Alabama. They fired a 63-62 and
won the Championship with an eagle on Sherling #1 in the sudden
death playoff.
