The opening hole on the Falls course is a dogleg-left par-4. Play your tee shot towards the grass mounds on the right side of the fairway. The hole drops steeply away on the left, and you need to avoid the large bunker in front of the green.
The large green on the par-3 second hole is elevated high above the fairway. The deep bunker in front of the green is the last place you want to be, so play your tee shot safe and take two putts for a par.
Hole No. 3 is a downhill, dogleg-right par-4. The ideal landing area for your tee shot is at the top of the hill near the 150-yard marker. The green sits elevated above wetlands, and two bunkers will catch many shots missed short.
Hole No. 4 is a straightaway par-4 that plays slightly downhill. Your tee shot needs to miss a large fairway bunker to leave a mid-to-short iron to the green.
Position your tee shot to the right of the fairway bunker on the par-5 fifth hole. The longest of hitters have a chance to reach the green in two, but it is all carry over water to find the putting surface guarded by bunkers on each side.
Proper club selection is a must on the par-3 sixth hole. The green is protected by a huge bunker that will make par a difficult save.
The par-4 seventh hole plays over water to a rolling fairway guarded by bunkers on both sides. A large bunker will gobble up any approach shots that miss left of the green.
Hole No. 8 is a dogleg-left par-4 that plays uphill and longer than the listed yardage. You need to challenge the bunkers lining the right side of the fairway to leave the best approach to a green that angles away from the fairway.
It is wise to take a fairway wood and layup off the tee on the par-4 ninth hole. You want to keep your tee shot short of the 150-yard marker and a downhill drop to leave a level lie for your approach to this multi-bunkered green.
Hole No. 10 is the signature hole on the Falls course. Split the fairway bunkers off the tee and then layup with your second shot rather than going for the green in two on this par-5. Water cascades down from the lake and crosses the fairway in front of the green.
Water lines the entire left side of the par-3 eleventh hole. The green juts out into the lake and is protected in front by a menacing bunker. Par is always a good score.
A fairway wood is all you need off the tee to leave yourself with a short-iron approach on the par-4 twelfth hole. The green is deep, but narrow, and offers little room for error. A large bunker guards short and right.
The short par-3 thirteenth plays slightly downhill to a large green. A bunker and wetlands area wrap around the green on the right side.
Hole No. 14 has a blind tee shot and you should favor the right side of the fairway. The fairway drops steeply downhill to wetlands after passing the bunker on this par-4. The green is guarded by two bunkers on the left.
The fifteenth hole is a dogleg-left par-4. Carry the bunker on the left with your tee shot to find the widest part of the fairway. Be agressive on your approach because four bunker cover the bail-out area on the left.
Favor the right side of the fairway off the tee on the par-4 sixteenth hole. Wetlands border the fairway and run in front of the left side of the green. The green is wide and there is plenty of room to play safe to the right side.
Hole No. 17 is a dogleg-right par-4 with a large landing area off the tee. A mid-to-short iron to this uphill green will get you home in two. A large bunker guards the front of the green.
The closing hole on the Falls course is a great par-5. Blast a tee shot over a bunker that splits the fairway and then stay left to avoid a massive bunker with your second shot.
