Two of the major youth golf programs in the Southeast have combined forces to create one of the largest programs for up and coming golfers in the U.S. The new tour will be under the umbrella of the Southeastern Junior Golf Tour (SJGT) and will now have more than 1,500 junior members. Based in Auburn, Ala., SJGT events will be held in Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, South Carolina, Tennessee and Alabama. Some sites include: Sea Island GC, Fallen Oak GC, Hawks Ridge GC, Gaylord Springs GC and TPC Sawgrass. In 2010, ten of these events will be held on Alabama’s Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail. More Info
