Personalized Instruction
At the RTJ Academy of Golf we offer three different kinds of personalized
golf schools.
The Game-Improvement School is offered in 1, 2 and 3 day sessions, with the option to make a half-day, morning-only session. Each day consists of honing your swing technique, which includes video analysis, and sharpening your short game. After lunch, we will put it all into practice on the golf course. On occasion, at student's request, this schedule can be altered. At the Academy we are very adaptable. We are open to any ideas and willing to do whatever it takes to make your experience the best.
The Performance School is held as a 1 or 2 day school. This school is very much a sport/science approach, using the latest cutting-edge technology. Day 1 consists of a TPI physical evaluation and workout program, slow motion video capture and 3-D swing analysis. Day 2 reviews Day 1's findings and also covers shot-shaping, trajectory control and advanced short game techniques. (Due to the school's advanced nature, a maximum handicap of 18 is required.)
The Short Game School is held as a half-day school. This three hour session is designed to improve all aspects of your short game. On the green we will cover putting technique, putter fitting and green-reading skills. Around the green we will hone chipping and pitching technique, appropriate club selection and deal with awkward lies and stances. From the bunker we will deal with all aspects of sand play, including selecting an appropriate sand wedge to suit your technique.
At either the Game-Improvement or the Performance Schools, you may attend for only one of the days at a two day school, and one or two days at a three day school, if so desired.

Reservation Policy: To secure your reservation, a $200 deposit per person is required. Deposits are payable by American Express, Discover, MasterCard, Visa, check or money order. The tuition balance is due 30 days prior to the school’s start date.
Cancellation Policy: If written notice of cancellation is received at least 15 days prior to the school’s start date, a full refund will be made less $100 per person. Persons submitting cancellations between 1 and 14 days prior to the school’s start date will forfeit deposits and the remaining funds will be issued back in the form of a golf school credit. Credits are good for a one-year period.
Rain Policy: If we are unable to provide instruction due to any act of God, we will give you credit for days missed. Under those circumstances the attendee would receive a rain check that may be credited towards another session within a one-year period.
