About TPI
The TPI has brought together the worlds of golf instruction and
physical conditioning. Through extensive research they have
found certain swing faults have a high probability of occurring
when certain physical characteristics are present. I offer a TPI based physical evaluation which will give me all the information I need to know what the pupil is physically capable of doing
and based on the findings I can devise a workout program to address
pupil's balance, range of motion and stability issues.
The workout program is broken down into 18 individualized
sessions, increasing in difficulty from first to last. Most
exercises are resistance-based and only require a minimum amount
of equipment.
About 3-D
3D is akin to an MRI while video is like an X-ray. It is a step up and provides the instructor with more information about the pupil’s swing. With 3D we can measure to see if
your swing style is really working because 3D deals with the efficiency of the swing.
When looking at the best ball strikers in the world, they have
very similar patterns or distinct 3D thumbprints, but when
observing their swings on TV or video they look like chalk and cheese with no obvious correlation. This is all very interesting and goes to prove that there are many
ways to swing a club correctly. Our goal is then to find the method that best suits
you. 3D gives us a way to measure this.
