Director of Instruction
Neil Thompson is a Class A member of both the PGA of America and the PGA of Great Britain and Ireland,
and was honored as the 2009 Dixie Section PGA Alabama Chapter Teacher of the Year.
Neil hails from England and attended college on a golf scholarship in the United States, achieving 1st Team All-American status before turning professional where he has won at local and national levels. Neil has been teaching golf students since 1993. Currently, he teaches all ages and abilities, from first-time golfers to tournament professionals, including winners on the PGA Nationwide Tour. Neil is a Level III golf professional member of the TPI (Titleist Performance Institute) and a certified K-Vest 3-D instructor, both of which offer great insight in the development of the pupil. Coupled together with his playing background and his enthusiasm for learning, Neil has adapted his teaching philosophy to what it is today - utilizing the latest training technologies and techniques to gain maximum results for his pupils. Book a lesson, you won't be disappointed! The TPI has brought together the worlds of golf instruction and physical conditioning. Through extensive research
we have found certain swing faults have a high probability of occurring when certain physical characteristics are present. I offer an evaluation which
allows me to know your limitations and as such teach accordingly.
Additionally, through the evaluation findings, I can devise a workout program to address
your limitations albeit poor balance, lack of stability or limited range
of motion.
The workout program is broken down into 18 individualized sessions, increasing in difficulty from first to last. Most exercises are resistance-based and only require a minimum amount of equipment.

ABOUT K-VEST 3-D
When observing the swings of the best players in the world on TV or video,
they look completely different with no obvious correlation. However,
when we compare these same swings with 3D motion capture, they have very
similar patterns. This is all very interesting and goes to prove that there are many ways to swing a club correctly. Our goal is to find the method that best suits you.
Measuring with 3D capture is akin to an MRI while video is like an X-ray. It is a step up and provides the instructor with more information about
your swing. With 3D we can measure to see if your swing style is really working because 3D deals with the efficiency of the swing. Visit k-vest.com for more information.
